SK Laser Creations wants everyone to be able to shop with us, including people who use a screen reader, use a keyboard instead of a mouse, zoom in, or use other assistive technology.

Our goal

We aim for our website to meet the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) 2.1, Level AA. These are the most widely used guidelines for making websites work for people with disabilities.

What we do

  • We check our site with accessibility testing tools and by hand, including shopping and checking out using only a keyboard.
  • Product photos have text descriptions, form fields are labeled, and text and buttons are colored to be easy to read.
  • Our online designer works with a keyboard, and you can type your wording into labeled text boxes instead of working on the preview.
  • We check the site again when we make changes.

Known limits

  • The live preview in our designer is a picture of your item. If the preview doesn’t work well for you, call or email us and we’ll set up your design with you and confirm every detail before we engrave it.
  • A few parts of our site come from other companies, such as our card payment form (Stripe), our Google reviews and our email sign-up form. We choose tools that support accessibility, but we don’t control all of their content.
